This concert gets a 9.0 on my Concert-o-meter

Oh my- That was on GREAT concert!!!!!! Earler in the year, when I learnd the Staind. Linkin Park, Static X and others were going to be touring I told a buddy of mine. His name is Rob, and he has never gone to a rock concert before. I heard through the Radio- (DC 101.1 FM)  from yet another buddy of mine- (hes a DJ there) Roache, that Family Values ws going to be at the MCI Center on October 18 2001 (Thursday). When Roache told me I instantly jumped in the car and spead down to the local Ticketmaster and I bought my tickte. My buddy Rob LOVES Staind and Linkin Park just as much as I do so we decided to go to the concert together. He gets his ticket and i have mine so off we go. His father would give us a ride to the MCI center but we had to find out way back to the University of Maryland. No prob- loads of metros!!!
The concert had allready started by the time we got there- DEADSY (the warm up band) had been playing for about 30 min- *gagging noises in background*- so we didnt miss too much. The curtain drops and DEADSY leave- STATIC X is up next and they fucken rocked the house!!!! I just couldent sit still, i was up and jumping, singing and screaming- WOW- they know how to fucking party!!!!!
After STATIC X did there thing it was LINKIN PARK's turn- they, just like STATIC X, know how to make the house rock- MAN-O-MAN I was fucking high on life.
STAIND came out and the first song they played was FADE- everyone in that place took out there lighter and lit it up- the tech people turned off all of the lights- but due ti the fact that all of the people were holding lighters- it looked as though the lighte were on. It was very butiful and that memory will be with me till the day I die. The next song STAIND played was MUDSHUVEL- everyone just went nuts- I never in my entire life have gone that crazy- but I just flipped. The one sone that made me cry in memory of my Bro was (and is) OUTSIDE. Everyone took out there lighters again and it looked as thought the entire centerwas swaying to the same side and at the same time, it was great
